The Waterway Recovery Group held a work camp alongside Selly Oak Park between July 30th and August 7th. Work essentially involved the rebuilding of the towpath wall between the old Harborne Wharf and the canal bridge which has a public right of way across it.

The group are all volunteers who pay to spend some of their spare time working around various canal restoration projects throughout the country. Lapal Canal Trust were very pleased that after several delays this part of the restoration project has now gone ahead.

Photos and reports are to be found on the Lapal Canal Trust website.
