CANAL & RIVER TRUST ‘EXPLORERS’
We’ve received the following information from Canal & River Trust Educational & Education Explorers.
The Educational division provides children, teachers, Uniformed Groups (Cubs & Brownies) and families with information about the education offer, along with educational games, activities and resources linked to the waterways.

Education Volunteers, often known as Explorers – are presently recruiting for new education volunteers in the Midlands area. There are a number of Midlands based locations where the volunteers lead waterside visits, however they also go into school to lead Water Safety activities and an Introduction to Canals. Midlands locations presently recruiting for are:
Birmingham Central (team are based at Cambrian), Hatton Locks, near Warwick, Etruria, near Stoke-on-Trent, Stourport Basins, Diglis Basin, Worcester (this team also support school and group visits to Droitwich Spa).
